Congress set to win Jubilee Hills bypoll in Hyderabad, takes big lead over BRS

Jubilee Hills Bypoll Results 2025: Congress candidate Naveen Yadav has secured the Jubilee Hills Assembly seat for the party, winning the crucial bypoll by a decisive margin of 24,729 votes. Yadav secured a total of 98,988 votes, while his nearest rival, Maganti Sunitha Gopinath of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), received 74,259 votes.

BJP’s Deepak Reddy Lankala was a distant third with 17,061 votes respectively, according to Election Commission data.

Earlier, Telangana Congress chief B Mahesh Kumar Goud hailed the party’s performance in the Jubilee Hills Assembly bypoll, terming it an endorsement of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy-led government’s performance in the southern state.
