172 candidates receive appointment letters at Visakhapatnam Rozgar Mela

As part of the nationwide employment generation drive launched by the Central government, the September 2026 tranche of the Rozgar Mela was held at the VPA Kalavani Auditorium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday (September 19, 2026).

According to a press release, the event was organised locally by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Visakhapatnam Custom House, in coordination with other central departments including CGST, Railways, Department of Posts, Income Tax, HPCL, CISF, and major public sector banks.

Union Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu chaired the Visakhapatnam programme as the chief guest and formally handed over appointment letters to 172 candidates. These candidates secured Group-B and Group-C positions through recruitment bodies such as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) for placement within Andhra Pradesh.
