Union Budget 2026 to be tabled on Feb 1, Budget Session begins Jan 28

The government has scheduled the Union Budget 2026 to be presented in Parliament on Sunday, 1 February 2026, according to a note put out by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs on Friday.

The Budget Session will commence on 28 January 2026 and continue till 2 April 2026.The first phase concludes on 13 February 2026. The Parliament will assemble for the second phase on 9 March 2026.The Economic Survey 2025-26 will be presented on 29 January 2026.The Union Budget 2026-27 will be tabled on 1 February 2026.This is a developing story.
