Andhra Pradesh Medical Student Death: A medical student from Andhra Pradesh, Dasari Chandu, aged 20, died in Kyrgyzstan after encountering an accident at a waterfall. Reports suggest that Chandu got stuck in snow at the waterfall, leading to his unfortunate death. The incident took place on a Sunday when Chandu, along with fellow students from his university, decided to visit a waterfall. However, the excursion took a devastating turn when Chandu got trapped in the snow, news agency IANS reported.

Despite efforts, the young student couldn't be saved.

Chandu, a resident of Madugula village in Anakapalli, was the second son of Bhima Raju, who works as a halwa seller. He embarked on a journey to pursue his MBBS degree in Kyrgyzstan a year ago.

Following his death, Chandu's family has made an emotional appeal to the Indian government for assistance in repatriating his mortal remains. Anakapalli MP B. Venkata Satyavathi has taken up the matter with Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G. Kishan Reddy, who has promptly reached out to Indian embassy officials in Kyrgyzstan to ensure all possible assistance in bringing Chandu's body back to India, the parliamentarian confirmed, as per IANS.
