BJP, INC spar over Jhooth Ki Goonj Indore posters

New Delhi: Ahead of Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron ki Goonj' programme in Indore on Saturday, the Congress said the Madhya Pradesh government is "terrified" of the event and has tried every trick in the book to stop it.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the youth of Madhya Pradesh are ready to raise their voices against this system that is "hollowing out" the country's education system. He also highlighted the 'Vyapam scam' that hit Madhya Pradesh a few years ago, claiming that it was linked to 40 suspicious deaths and had an impact on the future of millions of students.

"Rahul Gandhi Ji is continuously amplifying the voices of students being crushed in the country's failing education system through 'Chhatron Ki Goonj'. The crumbling education system is snatching away the future of the nation's future — our students — from them.
