Three women from two different parts of West Bengal on Saturday, 28 March, tested positive for COVID-19, taking the total number of people suffering from the disease in the state to 18, a senior official of the state health department said.

India saw the highest jump in COVID-19 cases on Saturday with 185 patients testing positive for the virus. The total number of cases, as on Saturday, is 909, which includes 19 deaths, according to the Union Health Ministry.
