India is a difficult place to play Test cricket, would love to win a Test series there, says Steve Smith

After missing the chance to play in the Test series against India Down Under, Australian batsman Steve Smith says he is eager to win against the Virat Kohli-led side.

Smith, along with Warner was banned after the ball-tampering incident and were not part of the squad that lost to India in the 2018-19 Test series in Australia.

Smith, in a podcast organised by inaugural IPL champions Rajasthan Royals, told New Zealand leg-spinner, Ish Sodhi, that he believes India is one of the toughest places to play Test cricket. He also said that winning a five-day format series in the country is a major career goal for him.
