Chinese Premier Li Qiang to attend virtual G20 Summit

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Premier Li Qiang will attend the virtual G20 Leaders’ Summit at India’s invitation on Wednesday.
India holds the presidency of G20 till November 30. The virtual summit will further discussions on the key outcomes and action points decided upon at the annual conclave of the grouping that was held in September.
The summit will also delve into the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Hamas conflict. It is also expected to push for the effective implementation of various decisions taken at the bloc’s annual summit in New Delhi over two months back, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.
