One8 Commune, a bar and restaurant co-owned by Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, has been warned of action by the Bengaluru civic body for allegedly functioning without the required permits, including NOC, from the Fire Department.
The BBMP letter, which has threatened of action if the establishment does not respond to it within seven days, has also alleged that an earlier communication too went unanswered.
The civic body’s notice comes in the wake of a complaint by activists H.M. Venkatesh and Kunigal Narasimha Murthy, who have alleged that the restaurant lacks fire safety measures.
