Two Dead, Many Injured After Bus Catches Fire In Jaipur

Jaipur: Tragic news has emerged from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. A bus full of labourers met with an accident after coming into contact with a high-tension power line in the Manoharpur police station area of ​​the district on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, morning. Three labourers died in the accident, while more than 10 others were seriously burned. The accident caused chaos at the scene.

Hearing the screams, people rushed to the scene and informed the police. It is reported that the bus was carrying labourers to a brick kiln in the Todi area. Suddenly, the upper part of the bus came into contact with a high-tension power line, causing the bus to catch fire. The fire was so intense that within minutes, the entire bus was engulfed in flames. The labourers inside tried to escape, but some were engulfed in flames.

As soon as the information was received, the Manoharpur police station police arrived at the scene and began rescue and relief operations. The fire brigade team brought the fire under control and the injured were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.
