Three killed in accident near Annigeri

Two bikers were killed in accidents in the city on Thursday night.

According to the police, Rajveer Singh, 25, a resident of Hebbal and an employee of a private firm, had reportedly been speeding. He lost control over his bike and rammed it into a road median in Kodigehalli on Thursday night around 11 p.m. He sustained severe head injuries as he was not wearing a helmet. Though he was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, he was declared “brought dead”, police sources said.

In the other case, Ravi, 30, was killed in an accident near Hoskote on the outskirts of the city when a car rammed his bike. Ravi fell down and sustained severe injuries and died en route to the hospital. The car driver fled from the scene and efforts are on to track him down, said the police.
