BJP MP Kangana Ranaut took a defiant stance, declaring that no one can prevent her from visiting Tamil Nadu, after a Congress leader from the state stirred a row by saying that the actor-turned-politician “must be slapped" if she visits the state anytime soon.
Former Tamil Nadu Congress chief KS Alagiri’s controversial comment came in response to a question about an old statement made by Ranaut, in which she alleged that women activists could be hired to participate in protests for Rs 100.
While visiting Kullu to meet flood victims and assess the impact of the recent devastating rainfall, Ranaut said, “In our India, we can go anywhere and no one can stop us. As they say, if there are some who hate, there are also many who love."
