Manchester United unveil Rasmus Hojlund as third signing of the summer

By India Today Sports Desk: Manchester United have unveiled Rasmus Hojlund as their third signing of the summer transfer window as the Danish striker completed his move from Atalanta on Saturday, August 5.

Hojlund's journey to Manchester United began at the age of 17 when he made his first-team debut for Copenhagen in October 2020. He then moved to Austrian club Sturm Graz in January 2022 before joining Atalanta in Serie A later that year. Despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Hojlund had always dreamt of playing at Old Trafford, the Theatre of Dreams.

In terms of his performance stats from last season, Hojlund made 32 appearances for Atalanta, scoring 9 goals. His speed and agility on the field have earned him recognition as one of the most promising forwards in the game today. In fact, Atalanta revealed via an Instagram post that their departing star ran at a speed of 35.97 km/h, which puts him ahead of every single United player.
