Mumbai Police detained two suspects from the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex after one of them allegedly posed as an official from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Sources said the suspect, identified as Rohan Parekh, was found carrying a fake PMO identity card during a security check. Police took action after verifying that the document was forged.

A gun was also reportedly recovered from the bodyguard accompanying Parekh.

The Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating why the two men allegedly attempted to enter the venue using a fake identity card and carrying a weapon.
