Pune Police on Tuesday registered a case against unidentified persons after a foetus and vestigial organs that were part of biomedical waste were found dumped in glass containers in the Daund area of the city.
According to news agency PTI, at least 10 glass containers were found dumped in a heap of garbage on Tuesday morning.
Investigations into the case revealed some other plastic containers, containing tissues, body parts and other biomedical waste were also found dumped.
