
Chennai-based diabetologist featured in list of top 2% of global scientists

In a record of sorts, eight faculty members and scientists of KLE Technological University (KLETU), Hubballi, have been named among the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists.
Stanford University has, in collaboration with Elsevier, released the worldwide list for 2025.
The list has been prepared using a methodology based on key metrics such as publications, citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index and a composite score (c-Score) across 22 scientific disciplines.
The list features 18,477 scientists from across the globe, including 1,566 from India, KLE Technological University said in a release.
