Blast in Amritsar village near Pak border kills suspected Babbar Khalsa member

A man died in an explosion near Naushera village in Amritsar, close to the Pakistan border. Police suspect the blast was caused by mishandling an explosive device. The deceased is believed to be a member of Babbar Khalsa, a banned terror group with suspected ties to Pakistan’s ISI, who came to retrieve an explosive consignment.
