4-Year-Old Raped In Delhi, Protest Outside Home Of Accused

New Delhi: Hundreds of local residents in Delhi’s Pandav Nagar area staged a protest to express their anger over the alleged rape of a 4-year-old girl, demanding stringent action against the accused. Furious mob also vandalised cars and public property outside the accused house to show their anger. In the video shared by news agency ANI, locals can be seen gathering in the market area and demanding strict action against the accused. Police can also be seen trying to disperse the enraged crowd.

According to police, Mandawali Police Station received a complaint on Saturday that a 4-year-old girl was raped by a 34-year-old man at the place where she goes for tuition.

Delhi Eastern Range’s Additional CP Sagar Singh Kalsi, who was at the scene, said that rumours were spread that no actions were being taken against the accused hence people gathered and stated protesting.
