In a move set to revolutionise sports in India, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) President Kalyan Chaubey has announced that renowned coach Arsene Wenger, currently the FIFA Chief of Global Football Development, will be coming to India in October.

The visit's primary agenda will be to finalise plans for a world-class central football academy in the country, a project co-run by FIFA and the AIFF. This academy will focus on training U-13 boys and girls, aimed at identifying and nurturing young talent, and preparing them for the global football arena.

"I am sure that with his [Wenger] experience and our industriousness, we can set the ball rolling for India to produce future stars,” said Chaubey.
