New Delhi: Racial Discrimination is one of the many evils of our society and has existed for decades together; several deaths in the United States have been reported in the past years where ‘Black people’ lost their lives due to cruel acts of ‘White People’; the most stirring ones including the killings of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner and Rekia Boyd.
These resulted in the formation of a social movement and protest – Black Lives Matter. This is being brought up again today after a Black man died in Ohio while being arrested by the cops. As mentioned earlier, the Ohio Police has released body camera footage of a black man who died after repeatedly telling the police officers that “I can’t breathe” as they pinned him down to arrest him, reported WKYC, a local news network in Cleveland. The Canton Police Department released the video on Wednesday, showing the death of 53-year-old East Canton resident Frank E. Tyson.
