Stoinis, Harris, Neser, Agar Miss Out As Australia Announce Annual Contracts

New Delhi: Cricket Australia have announced the central contract for men’s players for 2024-25 where veteran allrounder Marcus Stoinis, spinner Ashton Agar opener Marcus Harris, and seamer Michael Neser missed their place from the contract list.

Stoinis was out of action due to back injuries and he missed the recently concluded Australia’s T20 tour of New Zealand. He made a comeback for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL 2024 opener where he scored three runs.

Agar has been out of action since September, he played his last international game against South Africa where he picked up a calf injury during a match-winning partnership with Marnus Labuschagne.
