PM Modi, President Pay Tribute To BR Ambedkar On Death Anniversary

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tribute freedom fighter Dr BR Ambedkar on his 63rd death anniversary in the Parliament.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Vice President President President Venkaiah Naidu, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and his daughter Supriya Sule were also present at the occasion.

The prime minister remembered him as a man who dedicated his life to social justice."Ambedkar ji gave a unique gift to the country in the form of Constitution, which is the cornerstone of our democracy. A grateful nation will always be indebted to him," PM Modi tweeted.
