New Delhi: ‘Everything will be remembered, Everything recorded’, said Pink Floyd co-founder and legendary musician Roger Waters as he read out Delhi student-activist Aamir Aziz’s poem at a protest in London.

The 76-year-old singer-lyricist was participating in a protest last week to demand the release of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who has been in jail in the UK since April 2019.

A video of the rock icon reading out the English translation of Aziz’s Sab Yaad Rakha Yayega (Everything will be remembered) is now going viral on social media. Waters introduced Aziz as a ‘young poet and activist in Delhi’ who is involved in a fight against Modi and his ‘fascist, racist Citizenship law’.
