Honda Elevate SUV launched, prices start at Rs 11 lakh

Honda Cars India Limited has launched the Elevate SUV in India. Prices for the Elevate start at Rs 11 lakh (Ex-showroom). The new Honda Elevate is the Japanese automakers attempt at reaping the benefits of the highly successful and highly profitable midsize SUV segment, which has till now been dominated by the Korean siblings - Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. However Maruti Suzuki's Grand Vitara has since showed that the market is infact open to more models, especially from long-established brands.

Other rivals in the segment include the Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder as well as the new Citroen C3 Aircross. Measuring 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width, 1,650mm in height and with a wheelbase of 2,650mm, the Elevate is at par or even better compared to its rivals in terms of size.
