Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor to star in Bollywood adaptation of The Intern

Rishi Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be starring in the Indian adaptation of the 2015 Hollywood film The Intern.

Both actors took to Twitter and announced the film on their respective handles.

Kapoor senior wrote, "Moving on to yet another journey with the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern with @deepikapadukone ! Produced by @SunirKheterpal and #DeepikaPadukone for @iAmAzure& @_KaProductions in collaboration with @warnerbrosindia@DenzD".

Dippy will also be producing the film in association with Sunir Kheterpal. The actress made her debut as a producer with Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak recently. The Intern marks Deepika's second production.
