Taking cognisance of the incident, Chhatarpur SP Kumar Saurabh called it ‘unacceptable,’ adding that the SI is being acted against as per the law.

Lashing out at Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the opposition Congress tweeted: “Insensitive Shivraj government. The police wrote ‘I violated the lockdown, stay away from me’ on the forehead of a labourer. Shivraj has given only two options to the people: Either die due to corona or of hunger.”
