Bengal: Kolkata airport to remain shut for 7 days in August due to complete lockdown

Authorities at the Kolkata airport have announced suspension of flight operations at the airport for seven days in August in view of the complete lockdown announced by the West Bengal government.

In a statement the airport said operations at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport shall remain suspended on August 5, 8, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 31 due to complete lockdown announced by the state government on those days.

The airport has also requested passengers to contact individual airline operators for information about rescheduled flights.
