Woman’s Body Found In Water Tank At Greater Noida University, Husband On Run

Noida: A shocking incident unfolded at Greater Noida’s Gautam Buddha University following the discovery of a woman’s body in a water tank at the staff quarters building. The victim, who resided with her husband and mother-in-law, met a tragic fate under suspicious circumstances. Initial investigations suggest foul play, with the police suspecting the husband and mother-in-law of orchestrating her murder before absconding from the scene.

As per the locals, the couple had a troubled relationship marred by frequent quarrels including a heated altercation on the night of the crime, NDTV reported. Based on a complaint by the woman’s relatives, a case has been registered and teams formed to track down the missing accused.

The victim’s husband, employed at JIMS Hospital nearby, is the prime suspect in the case, raising questions about the motive behind the alleged crime. Senior police officials, including Shivhari Meena, have taken charge of the investigation, assuring a thorough examination of all leads to unravel the truth behind the tragic incident. The body has been sent for autopsy.
