Water level in Papanasam, Manimuthar dams

Water level in the Papanasam dam stood at 127.20 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 4346.55 cusecs and a discharge of 1500 cusecs. The water level in Manimuthar dam stood at 96.02 feet (118 feet) with an inflow of 515.19 cusecs and a discharge of 175 cusecs.

The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was in (mm): Ambasamudram 2,  Palayamkottai 2.20, Radhapuram 9, Tirunelveli 1, Manjolai 18, Kakkachi 22, Nalumukku 28 and Oothu recorded 25 mm rainfall.
