Water level in dams and rainfall

The water level in Papanasam dam stood at  73.30 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 3,036.79 cusecs and a discharge of 404.75 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 68.79 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 210.45 cusecs and a discharge of 175 cusecs.

Rainfall recorded in Tirunelveli district ending at 6 a.m on Sunday is as follows (in mm): Manjolai 18, Kakkachi 29, Nalumukku 21 and Oothu 42 mm.
