Water level in dams and rainfall

The water level in the Papanasam dam stood at 135.15 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 1206.70 cusecs and discharge of 1500 cusecs. The water level in the Manimuthar dam stood at 96.43 feet (118 feet) with an inflow of 203.01 cusecs and discharge of 75 cusecs. The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was in (mm): Papanasam 5, Servalar dam 2, Manjolai 2, Kakkachi 2, Nalumukku 6 and Oothu recorded 4 mm rainfall.
