Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay launched a scathing attack on the DMK in the State Assembly on Monday, targeting the opposition over historical corruption charges, law and order, and hostile political rhetoric.

Responding to opposition challenges to expose corrupt department files from the previous regime, the Chief Minister cited the 1988 Sarkaria Commission report on former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. He also pointed to Enforcement Directorate findings alleging that illegal money was collected as "party funds" under the previous DMK administration to benefit high-ranking leaders, including M.K. Stalin, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and Senthil Balaji.

"Where DMK exists, that is where wrong happens," Vijay said, accusing the opposition of abusing official positions for institutionalized kickbacks.
