Shatrughan Sinha Will Attend Sonakshi's Wedding, Confirms Pahlaj Nihalani

Mumbai: There’ve been whispers about Sonakshi Sinha tying the knot with her boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal lately. Her uncle, Pahlaj Nihalani, confirmed to Times Now that Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi’s father, will indeed be present at the wedding. This admission seems to quell the rumors on social media suggesting a family feud following Sonakshi’s father’s previous comments where he appeared clueless about the upcoming nuptials. In a recent interaction with Times Now, Pahlaj Nihalani said, “Shatrughan Sinha was out of Mumbai for almost three months due to elections. Bhabiji (Poonam Sinha) must have known. She must have decided to tell him about it after his return. Now he is back in Mumbai and all is well between Sonakshi and her family (sic).”

Upon questioning, about the actor-turned-politician attending the wedding ceremony of her daughter with Zahaeer Iqbal, Pahlaj Nihalani said, “Ha, but he can’t remain upset for long, not with Sonakshi. She is his laadli (darling). Shaadi nahin attend karne ka koi sawaal hi nahi paida hota (There’s no question of him not attending the wedding).
