Charging the State government for pressurising the revenue officials in the name of solving petitions collected under ‘Ungaludan Stalin,’ scheme, members affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Revenue Officials’ Association (TNROA) as part of the 48-hour - Statewide - strike boycotted works on Wednesday.
R. Gopi, TNROA, district president, said, due to the faulty manner in which the scheme had been prepared, the revenue officials were overburdened with thousands of petitions received through the camps.
“Though the government has marked 45 days for resolving the petitions, certain Collectors demand solution to the petitions within 20 to 30 days,” he complained.
