Rasikh Salam reprimanded for breaching IPL Code of Conduct

Delhi Capitals (DC) pacer Rasikh Salam Dar on Thursday was 'reprimanded' for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during the match against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Rasikh Salam displayed a stupendous bowling performance against GT on Wednesday. He led the DC bowling attack after grabbing three wickets in his four-over spell. It was also stated that the 24-year-old pacer committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 of the IPL's Code of Conduct.

"Rasikh Salam Dar, Bowler, Delhi Capitals has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 40 of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on April 24, 2024," IPL stated in a statement.

"Dar committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 of the IPL's Code of Conduct. He admitted to the offence and accepted the Match Referee's sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding," it added.
