Rama Navami was celebrated with great fervour across the city, with organisers distributing panaka, kosambari, and buttermilk to the public.

Amid the sweltering heat, people were seen stopping at pandals set up for the celebrations, where portraits of Lord Rama were installed, to quench their thirst. In several locations, prasada in the form of rice bath and kesari bath was also distributed to the public.

Ram Mandirs and Hanuman temples across the city were specially decorated, and special pujas were offered on the occasion of Rama Navami.
