Raghav Chadha’s name added in Delhi electoral

Days after Bharatiya Janata Party leader Raghav Chadha claimed that his name was deleted from the draft voter list prepared during the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Punjab, the Rajya Sabha MP’s name was included in the draft rolls in Delhi, The Indian Express reported.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday alleged that Chadha had illegally registered himself as a voter in Delhi’s Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency.

AAP National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda claimed that the Rajya Sabha MP’s name was added to the Delhi draft electoral roll in a “backdoor manner”, ANI reported. Dhanda claimed that the original roll released on August 31 showed 746 names, while Chadha’s name figured as the 747th entry later.
