Middle East Alert: Iran Claims Strikes on US Bases in Jordan, Warships Also Targeted

The military confrontation between Iran and the United States has reportedly escalated further, with Iranian forces claiming a series of missile strikes against US-linked military positions in Jordan and American naval assets at sea.

According to Iranian state-linked reports, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force launched more than 35 ballistic missiles under an operation described as “Punishment of the Aggressor,” allegedly in response to attacks on Iranian oil tankers.

Iranian reports claim that the Muwaffaq Salti and Prince Hassan airbases in Jordan were targeted, along with aircraft shelters, maintenance facilities and other military infrastructure. The reports further claim that Kheybar Shekan, Qadr, Emad and Qadr-H missiles were used in the operation.
