Politics: Rahul Gandhi Writes to Amit Shah, Demands Accountability Over Police Action Against Students

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, questioning the police action against protesting students at Jantar Mantar. Gandhi asked who ordered the use of force against students, stating that they were only demanding a fair and accountable education system. He demanded that responsibility for the alleged police action be fixed.

In his letter, Rahul Gandhi alleged that instead of listening to students' concerns, authorities used excessive force, including lathi-charge and tear gas. He also raised questions over the alleged use of weapons and demanded action against those responsible for attacking protesters.

The Congress has also targeted Amit Shah on social media, holding him accountable for the police response and announcing that the issue will be raised in Parliament. The controversy is expected to intensify during the upcoming parliamentary session, with Rahul Gandhi indicating that the matter will be taken up both inside and outside Parliament.
