Passenger on Bengaluru-Varanasi flight tries to enter cockpit mid-air

A passenger on an Air India Express flight from Bengaluru to Varanasi attempted to enter the cockpit of the aircraft on September 22.

The male passenger was looking for the lavatory and reportedly attempted to enter the cockpit when the flight was mid-air.

The incident occurred onboard flight IX 1086, and has been confirmed by Air India Express.

The airline said that the incident was reported to security agencies upon arrival at Varanasi airport.
