Tejas jet-maker HAL calls Dubai crash an ‘isolated occurrence’

Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away in Mumbai on Monday (November 24, 2025). The 89-year-old actor had been in and out of south Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital for several days earlier this month. He was later discharged and was continuing his recovery at home.

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) said on Monday (November 24, 2025) the crash of a Tejas fighter jet in Dubai last week was an isolated occurrence caused by exceptional circumstances, without providing further details. State-owned Hindustan Aeronautics manufactures the aircraft, which is powered by General Electric engines. Both companies have said they will support the investigation. Hindustan Aeronautics said on Monday (November 24) that the crash will not affect its business operations, financials or future deliveries.
