One TRF terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in J&K's Shopian

One terrorist, affiliated with the proscribed out The Resistance Front (TRF), has been neutralised by security Forces in an encounter in the Kathohalan area of Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

TRF is an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The encounter in Shopian began in the wee hours of Thursday and was a joint operation conducted by the local police and the Indian Army.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kashmir Zone Police informed: “One (01) terrorist affiliated with proscribed terror outfit TRF neutralised. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition recovered. Search going on.”
