The streets of Mumbai’s Ghatkopar turned chaotic on Monday as a massive hoarding collapsed amid a dust storm and heavy rainfall.
The collapse, triggered by strong winds, trapped numerous individuals and left a trail of damaged vehicles in its wake. Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos and panic as the towering structure came crashing down, sending debris flying in all directions.
Mumbai authorities swiftly mobilised rescue efforts to extricate those trapped beneath the rubble, while ambulances rushed to the scene to provide medical assistance to the injured.
