
Musician AR Rahman admitted to Apollo hospital in Chennai after complaining of chest pain
Music composer and singer A.R. Rahman has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, after suddenly experiencing chest pain. The music maestro is currently under medical care at the Apollo Hospital on Greams Road, where is being closely monitored by doctors.
According to NDTV, sources from the hospital have revealed that the musician was feeling unwell due to dehydration as he had been fasting for Ramadan. Other sources informed that he experienced neck pain and went for a check-up after returning from abroad, last night. Hence, more updates about his health are awaited.
This comes just week after AR Rahman’s ex-wife Saira Banu, who was hospitalised due to a medical emergency. The official statement was shared by her lawyer, Vandana Shah, on Instagram. The statement read, “On behalf of our client, Mrs. Saira Rahman, Vandana Shah and Associates issue the following statement regarding her current health condition. A few days ago, Mrs. Saira Rahman was hospitalized due to a medical emergency and underwent surgery. During this challenging time, her sole focus is on a speedy recovery,”
