Telecom giants Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have introduced new prepaid plans in India, focusing exclusively on voice calls and SMS services. The launch follows the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) recent directive requiring mobile service providers to offer separate plans tailored for customers who do not need mobile data.

Rs 499 Plan: Offers unlimited voice calls, 900 SMS, and 84 days of validity.

Rs 1,959 Plan: Includes unlimited voice calls, 3,600 SMS, and a 365-day validity period.

Reliance Jio has also unveiled two competitive options, as listed on its website:

Rs 1,958 Plan: Offers unlimited voice calls, 3,600 SMS, and a 365-day validity period.
