Mother-daughter duo accused of prostitution, dragged, assaulted by neighbours
In Belagavi district, Karnataka, a mother and her daughter were assaulted by their neighbours on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. The attack occurred in the Vaddarawadi locality, within the jurisdiction of the Malamaruti police station.
According to the victim, who has been residing in the area for four years, neighbours barged into her home, dragged her and the woman outside, and physically assaulted them.
