Mob loots arms, ammunition from Manipur police station

A mob raided the Ukhrul police station in Manipur, seizing around 21 firearms and 900 rounds of ammunition during a gunfight between two Naga villages. This incident, which resulted in four deaths, reflects the ongoing ethnic conflict in the state. Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi noted the looting has weaponized Manipur society.
