Massive Fire Breaks In MP's Harda After Blast In Firecracker Factory
A massive fire broke out after an explosion at an illegal firecracker factory located in Madhya Pradesh's Harda city. As per latest information, the fire has spread to over 50 houses near the factory. According to PTI, three people have died during the incident. More than 20 injured have been taken to Harda district hospital.
Upon receiving the information about the blast, fire brigade vehicles and the administrative staff rushed to the spot to control the situation. Fire brigade vehicles from Indore, Bhopal, and nearby districts have also been dispatched. Six fire brigades and Four ambulances from Narmadapuram along with doctors have also been sent to the Harda Fatka factory. Huge plumes of smoke could be seen from a distance after the blast.
Taking immediate cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed Minister Uday Pratap Singh, DG Home Guard Arvind Kumar, and ACS Ajit Kesari to go by helicopter. The medical colleges in Bhopal and Indore, and burn units in AIIMS Bhopal were also directed to make the necessary preparations.
