Manchester United receive triple injury boost ahead of Europa League final

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur march into Bilbao with their eyes firmly set on winning the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday, May 21. It has been season where both teams have failed to impress as the campaign has been filled with poor results and a dreadful run of form.

United find themselves 16th in the table with 39 points to their name, while Spurs are just a point and a place behind them in 17th. However, in Europe, both teams have looked strong with United being the only team unbeaten in European competitions till now. United's last win in the Premier League came in March, while Spurs tasted success six weeks ago.

However, in the Europa League, both teams have been able to produce magic and showcase their true potential. United staged an incredible comeback against Lyon in the quarterfinals and then blanked Athletic Bilbao in the semis to reach the final. Spurs thrashed Bodo/Glimt across two legs in the semis to make it to the final.
