Man sentenced to life for murdering wife

The Fifth Additional District Court in Coimbatore on Thursday sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife near Karumathampatti in Coimbatore district in 2014.

Judge P.K. Sivakumar awarded the punishment along with a fine of ₹15,000 to M. Marimuthu alias Kumar, who hails from Kovilpatti in Thoothukudi district.
